The Art of Hatha Raja Flow will take you on a journey of moving meditation and into the depths of your being to discover the freedom and happiness.

Olivia will guide you with playfulness and alignment into your practice, connecting mind and body with joy and calm.

Olivia discovered Hatha Yoga in 2003 and immediately realized the impact it would have on her life. Through her desire to deepen her knowledge, she sought to learn from masters, how to teach and share her passion with others, along with the journey she explored.

Schedule

Session One: HATHA RAJA FLOW (I)
Designed for Intermediate to Advanced Practitioners
Friday, 6th April 2018
2.30pm to 5.30pm
Three hours

This sequence is for the more experienced and adventurous students. It will be fairly intense, using all the elements of Hatha Raja Yoga. Olivia will guide you with awareness and consciousness to find freedom in the movement and the breath. You will explore a little bit of everything: Backbends, Deep Twists and Inversions. So, get ready to work hard!

This class will also include advanced Pranayama techniques and guided Meditation.

Olivia will share this practice she received from her master Sri Andrei Ram.

Session Two: HATHA RAJA FLOW (M) – PART I
Designed for all levels
Friday, 6th April 2018
7pm to 9pm
Two hours

This course will take you on a journey into the depths of your being to discover the freedom and happiness that is your essential nature. This will be an opportunity to develop your practice with an intensive focus on the body, mind and soul with a traditional Hatha Raja Yoga practice passed on by Sri Andrei Ram, sprinkled with creative Vinyasa. You will learn to pay attention to what is, as it is with an attitude of kindness. Olivia will share how to explore basic to intermediate poses with awareness, consciousness and to create effortless transitions appropriately for students of all levels. You will explore a little bit of everything: Backbends, Deep Twists, Deep Hip Openers and Inversions. This class will include Breathwork, Kriya Yoga techniques and guided Meditation. The focus on this course will be letting go and flow, connecting mind and body with joy and calm.

Session Three: HATHA RAJA FLOW (M) – PART II

Session Four: “FREE YOUR HIPS” YOGA AND CHAKRA
Designed for all levels
Saturday, 7th April 2018
2.30pm to 4.30pm
Two hours

Having a love-hate relationship with pigeon pose and want to get into deeper hip opening pose?

Through this class, yoga practitioner of all levels will explore Muladhara Chakra and aim to open the hips to create space around that region. To release negative emotions, to let go, to regain a light step, and the joy of living. Harmonizing this energy by visualization, sound and breathing techniques, freeing ourselves from tensions. Exploring postures related to Muladhara Chakra with movement, immobility, inhalation, exhalation, resistance and letting go by observing sensations and the mechanisms of the body and the breath.
