The Essence of Yoga with Yiannis Mukta Om (3-5 March 2017)
A unique opportunity to study with Yiannis Mukta Om on his first visit to Singapore. Yiannis has spent over 10 years studying daily under Sri Dharma Mittra, one of the greatest yogis of our time. Since 2013, Yiannis has travelled the world, sharing what he has learned at the side of his teacher, so more can experience the true essence of yoga.

Friday afternoon, 3rd March 2017, 2pm to 5pm
Opening Session: Maha Shakti
A well-rounded practice in the classic Hatha-Raja Yoga, this practice includes breathing exercises, surya and shiva namaskar (a series of physical postures) that ends with a deep relaxation.
Friday evening, 3rd March 2017, 6:30pm to 9:30pm
Session Two: Yoga Nidra
This healing practice is a deep relaxation that leads us to a complete relaxation of body and mind while in savasana pose. Yoga Nidra increases energy and our experience of bliss and peace. It is one of the most profound divine techniques that Sri Dharma Mittra shares with his students.
Saturday morning, 4th March 2017, 10am to 1pm
Session Three: Master Class
This practice challenges us to go deep into our practice in order to achieve great results. This class is a combination of inversions, backbends, hip-openers and forward bends, and finishes with a deep relaxation.

Session Four: Psychic Development Techniques
Learn ancient practices to improve concentration and bring great clarity to our minds, enhancing our creativity and the power of our thoughts.
This session includes breathing exercises, visualisation techniques and mantras to help us remove impure thoughts from our intellect .
Psychic Development Techniques are passed down from a teacher to the student directly by the grace of the teacher.
Sunday morning, 5th March 2017, 10am to 1pm
Session Five: Maha Sadhana
A complete practice that combines mantras, asanas (physical postures), pranayama (breathing techniques) and yoga nidra (healing relaxation) to bring the practitioner to a state of radiant health and mental clarity.
Yiannis will share this practice as he has relieved from his master Sri Dharma Mittra, one of the great living yogis of our time.
Sunday afternoon, 5th March 2017, 2:30pm to 5:30pm
Closing Session: Satsang
An opportunity for discourse where Yiannis will share spiritual knowledge as passed down to him from his master Sri Dharma Mittra. Participants can ask questions about the practice that have received. This practice closes with a meditation practice.
Yiannis Mukta Om is a devoted student of Self-Realisation as passed down to him directly from his master Sri Dharma Mittra, one of the great yoga gurus of our time. He embodies the deep inner strength and playful nature of his master.
Yiannis is continuing his journey as the living example of the true essence of yoga. He is established in the ethical precepts and able to share all the tricks of the asana. He is also qualified to pass on the techniques of pranayama and can direct students to go beyond the senses, mind and intellect and into deeper states of meditation and realisation that he has cultivated from being by Dharma’s side for over 10 years.
